Congrats to our July Donation Give-Away Winner: Julie-Anne Lambert

We are excited to announce the winner of the July 2015 Donation Give-Away drawing! Julie-Anne Lambert of Hudson, Quebec, Canada will be using the Napa Valley Wine Tour Experience to help raise money for The Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation (VSPCRF) where she is the Assistant Executive Director of Fundraising. 

VSPCRF was founded in 2005 to provide professional palliative care in the community, free of charge. Their mission is to offer a home where serenity, warmth, comfort and relief are provided with an approach to excellence in palliative care, thanks to a passionate and professional team of employees, volunteers and partners. 

Five and a half years after the organization was created, on September 10, 2010, VSPCRF proceeded with the official inauguration of the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence (pictured below).

The Napa Valley Experience donated by Winspire will be used as an auction items at their 10th annual Happening Gala coming up in the fall, which typically draws over 400 guests in support of their mission. The gala is one of three main annual events, including an annual Golf Tournament and Wild Game Dinner, all of which are in their tenth year running. 

The events are critical to successfully raising the necessary $1.2 million needed annually in order to offer palliative care services free of charge in Vaudreuil-Soulanges and the surrounding area. 

"We are a very small organization," explains Julia-Anne, "And our donor pool is mostly our county of Vaudreuil-Soulanges, which comprises of a population of about 145,000 people. Our challenge is to be creative as we need to continuously innovate in order to keep our donors interested."
